POSITION OVERVIEW
The Role
The Sr. Manager - Ad Tech Solutions role will focus on inbound and outbound platform licensing, support, consulting, and training sales opportunities. Ideally suited for an outcomes-focused individual, the Sr. Manager, Ad Tech Solutions Sales role will work to uncover opportunities through prospecting and networking efforts. This role will sit within the Sales & Client Success team, reporting directly to the Vice President, Sales & Client Success. This is a full-time position that could require some travel and flexible hours as required.
Responsibilities
- Manages the inbound and outbound sales pipeline from introductory communications to closed sales as related to your sales territory
- Generates new sales opportunities through active prospecting, networking, relationship nurturing
- Works closely with the Vice President, Sales & Client success to develop and refine sales prospecting processes
- Develops strong relationships with Agencies, Publishers, and Brands to connect their changing business needs to Dandelion platform and support offerings
- Provides strategic recommendations and best-practices on suitable Dandelion-licensed platforms and service tiers for client onboarding
- Acts as a lead within Dandelion sales team
- Creates and delivers customized presentations to senior decision makers, utilizing the support of in-house platform and subject matter experts
- Builds solutions to fulfill select RFP’s, SOW’s, and POC’s in collaboration with internal cross-functional teams
- Attends industry-related networking events with a focus on learning, and creating new sales opportunities
- Contributes to sales collaterals and case studies with support from internal teams
- Coordinates with Ad Tech Solutions Coordinator for Salesforce, pipeline management, and platform procurement on each closed deal
- Additional tasks and duties as required
Qualifications
- 15+ years experience in sales, with a focus in technical selling, and SAAS. Experience in digital advertising sales in a variety of digital marketing platforms and services is an asset.
- Experienced in sales with US and Canadian prospects
- Sound understanding of the digital landscape and the role that various advertising platforms play
- Proven record of meeting and exceeding sales targets by utilizing sales strategies
- Exceptional ability to learn, create, adapt, and test new ideas, sales packages, and strategies
